Anika Noni Rose was born on September the 6th back in 1972 in the city of Bloomfield, Connecticut. Her parents are named Claudia and John Rose. Anika first started acting in her first year of high school. Later she was not to Florida A and M University and scored a Bachelor is Degree there for Theatre. Eventually after college Anika headed to NY on a wing and a prayer. Anika did not have a job but was able to catch a role on the Broadway hit Footloose. Rose is going to become Disney 1-st African American princess. She is the voice of Tiana who is the princess in, The Princess and the Frog. Anika has many more acting jobs lined up and is bound for stardom after the release of the Disney animated film.
