Angel Marie Faith Carter (born January 8, 1988) is a singer from Burbank, California, USA. At age thirteen, she joined the girl group No Secrets, in which she was the group's primary vocalist. Shortly after No Secrets released their self-titled debut album in 2002 Angel left the group to pursue a solo career.
When Angel was nine months old an agent saw her in a restaurant and wanted to use her in a print ad. This was the start of her career. Angel appeared in numerous print ads and commercials as a child. At the age of nine she became the lead singer of Kid Power, a professional singing and dancing group, which performed around the world.
As Angel was turning eleven and still performing with Kid Power, she was offered her first record deal with Cherokee Records. At the time Angel's parents thought she was too young to sign the deal. About this time Angel started taking vocal lessons from Seth Riggs, best known for helping Michael Jackson Barbara Streisand, Jennifer Lopez etc. As a teenager, Angel joined the group No Secrets, and a few months later No Secrets was signed by Jive Records.
